Hello, no they do not get close enough to bump the other person. Use the connection in your hands to stop before you connect with the other person.

Hey, the dip would happen on the 56 of the pattern bring the follower up 7 & 8. You could keep them in closed hold and do an inside turn as the next move. The follower should come up with weight on their left foot ready to go with their right.
