Hey there kolanski! You are currently in the Secondary syllabus that we have for Country Swing, but there are also some videos that are beyond the Primary and Secondary syllabus that you can find if you type in Country Swing to the search bar! There are some cool moves out there! Hope that helps - if you have troubles finding any of the videos, please let us know.

Justin Ammons that’s so cool!! Do you have a video?! We’d love to see it! 😊

Justin Ammons totally get that! I came from a solo background too, so hearing the beat/music was never the issue, but dancing with another person was! Once you’re more comfy with your footwork, it makes adding a person much easier, but still tricky. Depending on which dance you’re doing, some connection keys are easier than others (WCS is the hardest with connection, in my opinion) - which dances are you learning currently?!

Great question Justin...we try to keep things consistent so there aren't huge discrepancies as much as possible. However, there are times though that we've called moves certain names for so long that they just stick...lol 😜 - I think Front to Front Back to Back is also Face to Face/Back to Back perhaps. If you ever have questions about a move, please don't hesitate to let us know!

Whoops!! We'll look into that...thanks!! 😀

Hey there Justin!Great question...we, as the leaders, always need to be aware of where everyone is on the dancefloor. We say as you have a little bit of space behind you and other people, you can try the Corte on the line of dance. However, curving/turning basics can be great to save you from running into your fellow dancers on a different angle. Starting a little diagonal center also gets you ready for the Double Corte 😉

Thanks Charles E. Anders!! Glad it was helpful! With footwork, even just a little change of angle makes for a different look and feel. 😉 Easier than you might think! Happy dancing!
