Hey anne olejarz - the passing tuck is similar but different. It is the tuck turn for the follower, but now the follower is passing the leader instead of staying on the same side. The passing tuck is in our Beginner syllabus and numver 7 on our PDF for West Coast Swing. It's a fun and sometimes underutilized pattern.
Replied on Basic - Country Swing

Hey Steven Farrer - great question. Country Swing has gone through a huge evolution in a short period of time. We've just now really gotten to a more decisive and teachable (and agreed upon) way of teaching the basics and beyond. When I first taught it in Texas (over 10 years ago) they taught it like the 4 count Hustle, but the way we are teaching the basic in these videos is what is being taught over the states currently, and at all of the Country Swing weekend events. Q-Q-S, Q-Q-S. Just like West Coast Swing where some things are taught slightly different, that might be what's happening in your AM studio. Where is your studio located? Hopefully that answered your questions!
