Yes, Yes and YES! You're so right on. We try to address that with new dancers but sometimes they don't hear it because they are so focused on just learning what's in front of them. It seems to become obvious once the dancers are well past that point. We just try to encourage them (so they don't lose faith) and they can learn that it's just part of the game of learning. Yeah - 2-Step is a very tricky one for sure. Interestingly megan and I just addressed dance floor navigation in an unreleased video. It's something that popped up for our beginner so we figured if they were struggling... so was everyone else. Thanks so much for sharing with us. It really helps us create more helpful content!

Great question. I think each of those topics (staying on time to music) and (rolling through your feet ) are probably best tackled individually before trying to combine them.  In this video I talk about the critical timing of WCS (which should help staying on time)
