Hey there Janeen Wagner! Great point! It's really hard for the leaders when we all get started out. Not only do they need to remember what they're doing, but they have to lead the follower and convey to you what they're trying to do! It's tough! As a follower it's tough too because we want to help, so that's typically a big struggle for us! BUT, practice helps and knowing each others footwork alone before dancing together is a huge help too!! I'm not sure which styles you are learning, but see if any of these tips below help! Hey there Don McIntosh! We call that move the Decapative Whip or 'Decap whip' for short...we do a whole series on it! If you search Decap whip on the site, you'll find a few different videos breaking it down. (It's one of Brian's favorite moves) Below I've linked one of our newer videos about it.You're welcome to TL on your phone/tablet the videos from the site, since you have access to them. We don't currently have a teacher/pro rate but we're working on a teachers course so we'll see about adding that option into the mix.
