Hey there Jessica McKinney!! I've heard Raleigh is a fun area! One of our good friends Antoinette Santoro teaches in Raleigh. She said that she teaches/recommends A Step to Gold or Elite Ballroom. They have group classes too! Currently we don't have intensives scheduled, but we're hoping to do one later this year in Louisville. If you ever want to come to Louisville to do lessons, you can email us at Brian@westcoastswingonline.com and we can try to get something scheduled!

Zoe Láska what a bummer! I'm glad you were able to build up your foot strength. I started as a ballerina, so I totally get foot issues and having to rebuild. Kudos to you for all that work! Happy that you're back to dancing!! 😃If you ever need help with balance and drills for that, we've got quite a few videos to help! Happy dancing!!

Jerry Nesseler - I think that is the end of the video, but you're right...it does seem like it ends abruptly. 🤔 Hmmm...I'll message Miss Megan about it. Thanks!!

Hey there Liam Dauchat - great question! Depends on if you're the leader or the follower. If I'm following and feel like my partner is too fast, I'll try to purposefully extend or stretch my anchor to try and get back on the beat. If my partner is too slow, I'll do the opposite and try to speed up my movement to get back on beat. As leaders it's hard to sometimes hear the beat, so if we as the follower can help a little, it's good team work. On the flip side, if I'm leading I try to control the timing with my connection. If my partner is on the slow side, I'll try to shorten the connection to get back on the beat. If my partner is fast, I try to stretch on the anchor to slow things down a bit, or get to closed position patterns so I can control the timing a little bit more. Hope that helps!
