Hey Tom, that maybe true in the Aurther Murray syllabus (I'm not familiar with their syllabus) but in International and by extension American ballroom dancing the heel pull is not a heel turn. They are different things. The heel pull is just the pulling of the heel but the heel turn IS the turn on the heel. So a heel turn would include a heel pull but the pull is only part of the heel turn. I hope that makes sense -B

Hey Nancy!Great to hear from you. 2-3 nights a week is awesome. It's addicting isn't it? Ahh the issue of balance. You're not alone. That's a common problem. There are some videos on spins and turns that might help. Also I'm considering doing a 'dance exercise' course since we see the balance thing popping up a lot.
