Trying to learn how to follow and learn patterns without a partner. I love your videos, but I’m not sure what’s the best way to learn/practice solo. Everyone seems to have different suggestions. I do attend dance lessons locally and go to dance parties, but it is so overwhelming at times. I practice the basics (box) for every style but what about the other patterns and transitions? Is it best to just practice each pattern and do my the best when partnered? I’ve only been taking lessons a few months and can’t seem to get enough!
