Jason Agbayani Two Left Feet has classes at the studio called Just Dance in Oakland. Yes, that is the one by Stephanie mostly these days, although I read Jason Wayne will be teaching much of April. I don't know where Michelle is these days. There's a lot going on in Santa Rosa but I have been there only once. 

Jason Agbayani I'm actually in the East Bay, north of Berkeley. I haven't been to either of the places you mention, but for WCS I've been to Dance Boulevard in San Jose, 2 Left Feet in Oakland, WnY in San Rafael, and Munroe Hall in Santa Rosa -- a 3 hour span all together. I haven't been to Mission City Swing in San Francisco, which I think is the big event there. Santa Rosa has country + swing events on Fridays and Sundays as well, but I haven't tried them yet.

I'm not a leader, but my partner and I have been looking for ways to 'break into' musicality. We started gaining ground when we semi-choreographed a bunch of sequences leading to phrase change breaks. Once we got good at those, we 'graduated' into less formal practice. So for me, yes -- mini-routines help.
