Agreed , it's the first part of your heel turn. Years ago it was also considered proper to "draw" one's partner in your frame as the leader leaned slightly back and slightly raised their toes during the heel turn or as I called it pull. The reason I remember this so well is my examiner/boss (Terry Leone) raked me over the coals because I didn't raise my toes.....ah, the old day'sĀ Ā š
