Any tips/advice for competing?
I am new to dance this year and have been taking lessons for months now. I am thinking about singing up for a ucwdc event in March as a newcomer. I’d appreciate any advice or anyone willing to share what their experience was like as a first time competitor.
I just started taking some WCS lessons and one of the things I worked on was a 'left side spinning pass'
I wanted to see if you have a video of that and found a couple things (I'll link to below), but when I click on the video, it's just an image and doesn't provide an actual video.

Hey, Lance here from Bend, Oregon. In college I think I took almost all the dance classes offered (ballroom, jazz, country, east coast swing) and really liked it. So just started to taking lessons again but this time learning West Coast Swing (which I've never done before).
I found Brian's videos on YouTube VERY helpful so excited to be a a part of the community over here :)
Also, I came across Bloodstream by Ed Sheeran and really like dancing to this one.

Howdy fellow Dancers. I really want the yearly membership, however i will start with the monthly to see how i like it. I have been taking Country Western classes and absolutely love it. Still am not the best dancer so now I am looking forward to an additional learning opportunity.
